| Just thought I'd put up a few pictures from the past few months:
Hiking at Devil's Den in the fall - Zion loves going along.
Christmas - Zion and Fiver under the silver tree, Fiver lounging at my brother's house, Me and my sister-in-law and future sister-in-law.
Community Celebration Night - some of my favorite ladies. (BTW, there were guys there but their outfits just weren't as cute!)
Ice Storm - these are all from my yard. Now all the limbs are piled up at the street or in the back yard. It may be months before the city can pick everything up. I am currently hosting another Japanese student, this time for three weeks. Kanae caught a stomach bug and has been in bed for the past two days - that's almost 10% of her trip! Hopefully she'll be feeling good enough to go to school tomorrow.
| So, it's been a while. I got a bike a few weeks ago and have been enjoying the fall weather and the ever-expanding trails here in Fayetteville. It's fun to see some of the same people on the trail. It's also nice to ride up to the grocery store for a few items.
Fiver has gotten a little bigger - he's about 6 months old so I think he's just about full size now. He got neutered a few months ago. Yes, male rabbits get neutered to reduce things like aggression, marking, and chewing. For females, spaying can extend their lives significantly - the majority of female rabbits that are unaltered will die from uterine cancer.
I've enjoyed visits from family recently - Mom and Dad came through on their way north, girls' weekend with Mom, aunt Andrea, cousin Jennie and friend Tika; a weekend with Granny, and next weekend Shane and Amelia will be coming! That will have to do for now...
| Here's some new photos of Fiver...he's definitely grown in the past 3 weeks since I've had him. And that makes him almost 3 months old. If Zion is walking around, he will follow her, and he likes to hop around her when she's laying down on her pillow.
Hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!
| Hello, friends, let me introduce you to Fiver. He's a two month old Black Dutch and he should grow to be around 5 pounds. I will have to tell you more later, as it is past my bedtime...

| Why the heck did my CO2 detector battery have to go dead right now, at midnight? Not only does the infernal beep every 30 seconds hurt my ears and my head, it makes Zion freak out. Seriously. I hope I don't have a CO2 leak tonight, cause I just took the battery out. | | |
